Founded in 2012, PetPace is committed to improving pet quality of life through advanced wearable technology. Our remote pet health and wellbeing monitoring solutions track vital signs and other physiological data in real time utilizing advanced analytical methods and alerting models.

 

The low-power, wireless PetPace smart collar features an array of sensors that continuously monitor dogs or cats over eight pounds in the clinic or at home. If abnormal vital signs, physiological or behavioral parameters are detected, the sophisticated PetPace cloud-based analytical engine evaluates and alerts caregivers and pet owners, allowing them to take preemptive action to protect pet health.

Avner Schneur

Chairman

Read Avner’s Bio

Avner Schneur led a number of companies from early stage to IPO or other exits. Schneur is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Kormeli, LLC www.kormeli.com an investment Group dedicated to funding and guiding early-stage technology entrepreneurs and enterprises.

Schneur is chairman and board member in a number of security and enterprise software companies. In late 1999 Schneur founded Emptoris, leading Supply and Contract Mgnt. Software Company and served as the company’s Chairman, President and CEO. On December 2011 Emptoris was sold to IBM.

Prior to founding Emptoris, Schneur was the senior vice president of operations for Vectis Corporation, a leading software vendor of electronic medical records.

Before Vectis, Schneur served as vice president and chief technology officer for Astea International, a leading developer of customer interaction software, and helped lead the company to a successful IPO.

Prior to Astea, Schneur was director of Software development at Elscint, Inc., a manufacturer of high-end medical imaging systems.

Schneur Graduated Cum Laude in Industrial Engineering, with a specialty in Information Systems, from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

ABRAHAM MENKES

PRESIDENT & CEO

Avi Menkes was cofounder, President and CEO of SandLinks, an active RFID/WSN company. Under his leadership, the company developed a revolutionary very low power UWB System On Chip.

Prior to SandLinks, Mr. Menkes served as the Managing Partner of DictumBDO, an international business development company, creating business opportunities for various companies.

Prior to DictumBDO Mr. Menkes was a cofounder and Senior Vice President Business Development of eZoneX.

Mr. Menkes held senior Strategic Partnership and Business Development positions at Sapiens International and Oracle.

Prior to that, Mr. Menkes was the President and Co-Founder of Saga Management Information Systems (SMIS), which specialized in Supply Chain Execution Systems for the oil & gas and construction industries.

Mr. Menkes holds BSc in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

DR. ASAF DAGAN

CHIEF VETERINARIAN

Dr. Dagan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP), specializing in Canine and Feline medicine. He is also certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). In addition, he successfully completed advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound, laser surgery techniques and orthopedics.

Dr. Dagan graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and was admitted to Phi-Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society.

He practiced small animal veterinary medicine in large veterinary hospitals in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Israel, dealing with a variety of medicine, surgery and emergency cases.

Dr. Dagan also holds a LL.B degree (magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University Law School.

ARIEL GOLDFARB

SENIOR DIRECTOR, R&D

Ariel comes to PetPace with over 22 years of multidisciplinary experience in system design and management for enterprise, consumer and industrial market.

Prior to joining Petpace Ariel held system manager positions in leading fables semiconductor companies – DSP Group Inc., a global chip vendor for digital cordless, multimedia and IP phone solutions; Metalink Broadband Ltd., a company providing xDSL solutions.

Ariel lead the Electro-optics team at Kerenix Ltd ( Optical Network System for the Core market), played R&D key roles at Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (A company developing, manufacturing and deploying satellite based networks) and Motorola LMPS (Land-Mobile Products Sector).

Ariel holds B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel-Aviv University specialized in Communications Systems and Electro-optics.
